Sometimes being a mom is hard and sometimes it is such a piece of cake. Seriously, you just never know what kind of day it is until your feet hit the floor in the morning. Add in the chaos of the fur babies & well, you get the picture.
I do love being a mom and I think, on most days, I am a decent mom overall. I make tons of mistakes, know how to apologize and have a thick skin that can take alot. I also love my boys, my three fellas, soo much.
This is all leading up to our boy #2. He is 4 and has an older brother to look up to and is an older brother for another to look up to. Some days it is just too much for him. I can't imagine how he feels to be put in the middle and want to do everything his bigger brother is doing and then want to do everything his baby brother is doing. Frustrating for sure.
I've been reading a book entitled, Love & Logic. It is pretty good and has given me a few tips and tricks to work with this beautifully passionate young child. His temper is pure Irish (thanks Grandma) and bubbles over quickly, but is such a loving child at the same time. I can't imagine life with out him.
In the truck today, we saw an ambulance and a fire truck with lights flashing and the sirens blaring. He quickly said we needed to say a prayer for the people and the firefighters. We did and Brian ended the prayer with, "In the name of the Father, the Sonners and the Holdy Spirit. The End."
That's my 4 year old~
